The
Students Representative Council (SRC) was founded in 1979 under the Prefectship of Senior Archimedes of Pearson
owing to the corrupt practices of two Prempeh matrons. A history of the SRC is
found here.
The motto is "S.R.C., for the emancipation of student through dialogue and the
philosophy of non-violence." During Headmaster Sekyere's time in power, the SRC became extinct because the former headmaster saw it as a threat to his
totalitarianism. The rejuvenation of the SRC occured on May 31st 2003.
Herewith a recent SRC report by
the Senior Prefect.
