GUNSA
stands for the GHANA UNITED NATIONS STUDENTS ASSOCIATION. It was in the
persuance of one of the aims of the GUNSA that the National President came
to Prempeh College to get a group of students who would promote global
peace, just as the organisation to which they belong, and after a period
of about two weeks, GUNSA started with about one hundred and forty enrolled
members. GUNSA members take annual field trips to places like the Ashanti
Goldfields in Obuasi. They also do voluntary work at the Children's ward
of the Gee Hospital.
GUNSA is one of the oldest organizations on campus. Only the Red Cross, SU and Cadet corps
are older than GUNSA.
